My baby's first birthday
My baby has turned one, really?? OMG, time really flies. Entire day of last year's 20th november is getting recapped in my head, It was 5:03 pm when
Garv came out in this world. Yes yes I know girls are very good at remembering dates and times. And since it was the BEST moment ever of my life, I am
never gonna forget the exact date and time. I remember while I was in the operation room and they took Garv outside, I could hear loud cheers of all my family members
and I just cannot forget the happiness I saw on everybody's face while they were taking me on stretcher from operation room to the hospital room. Kamlesh and I
were not together during this special moment and I remember we both were crying while we congratulated each other for our baby. I was physically so tired but
still couldnt sleep on 20th night because that night was not the same as any other night. I was on top of the world. Still cannot thank God enough for blessing
us with Garv. Watching Garv grow every day brings so much of happiness. And the milestones he has achieved brings utmost satisfaction. The first time he
rolled over, first time he creeped, then crawled, then stood on his knees and finally on his feet, all the first times have been very very special. But all
said and done, Parenting brings lots of challenges with itself as I say 'Parenting nahin hai laddoo'. Sometimes you get really frustrated, sometimes you feel
completely exhausted and sometimes you just cannot get what on earth can make your baby stop crying and you keep doing trial and error to make your baby
sleep through the night. Sometimes you feel guilty when just because of small distraction of yours, your baby falls off the bed or crib. Phew!! Yes, there is so much
to learn on Parenting. Garv is growing as a kid and Kamlesh and I are growing as a parent.But however frustrated or exhausted you get, at the end of the day
you are happy and that is Parenting!! I feel sad that we won't have our family around to celebrate Garv's first birthday but we know their best wishes are with us
and we have so many friends here who are also our family now. Kamlesh and I have done lot of planning for the birthday celebration, hope everything goes as
planned. Garv in hindi means pride and you truly are our pride. Love you Garv. Want to give you BEST of everything. You make our family complete, thanks
for coming in our lives, wanna thank Almighty again, thank you God. Keep showering your blessings on our baby. Happy Birthday to Garv. Love you!!
