Jack of all trades, master of none

You and I are so busy and working at such a high pace..
Makes me wonder, are we all in some kind of a race.
Race of becoming the best employee, best parent, spouse or a friend,
We try to do everything and it leaves us exhausted in the end.

'Jack of all trades, master of none' is the adage we all have in our mind,
Yet we try to achieve everything in the fear of not being left behind.
What is keeping us so busy, have we ever thought?
Is it required to do everything within limited time we have got.

At work, we strive to always achieve more.
If you slow down, someone else will be promoted to the position you adore.
And while you get busy to make your impact at work place,
You miss on the social obligations you have to face.

It’s okay if we have to miss such gatherings once in a while,
Work on your TBD tasks, which will otherwise start to pile.
Don’t bother about people, who judge you for not making it to their event,
Ignore, move on. Be sure of you and your intent.

You’ll never be able to please everyone, they say.
That’s why have selected few friends who will forever stay.

And no matter how busy you and I get
Your days end by reaching the best place in the world, I bet.
Just stepping into the house drains away all our tensions,
It makes us feel so secured, it's not easy to mention. 

While it’s good to explore places outside,
Make some time to make memories at your HOME, by just being with each other inside.
Talk, share, laugh, play, pray, eat together,
Spend quality time with people who will be with you forever.

Take a pause, reflect and see if you are moving too fast.
Slow down.. sometimes being slow and steady can make you win at last.
Don’t drain yourself so much; Do things but also enjoy the journey,
You'll be able to achieve things, only if you are happy and healthy..

What a movie!! What an awesome lady Gangubai was!! We would have never known about her if SLB had not chosen to make a movie on her. Yes it is a very sad story. But it has brought to light how some girls have no choice to come out from their world of red light. And Gangubai being part of this world took the ownership of those girls and encouraged them to live with dignity and not to be ashamed when they step out. She took care of them like their mother. She took the challenge of winning election in their area even when chances of her winning were very bleak. That’s the one quality I liked the most in her. She loved to accept challenges without a single doubt in her mind that she will fail. And with her strong belief, she always got what she wanted. Finally I watched this much awaited movie. As most of my friends had already told me, yes it’s an emotional movie. Didn’t have any idea that it’s based on a true story. It’s a story of a girl named “Aisha Chaudhary”. In her life, complications started as soon as she was born and she felt that she was a villain in her parents’ life as her birth complicated their life and also affected their love life. It’s a story of Aisha’s parents who didn’t leave any stone unturned to save their daughter’s life. A girl who could have died within one year of being born due to a rare genetic disorder got to live 18 years all because of sheer efforts of her parents. Out of 18 years, many years went into her treatment. And Aishi (as her family used to call her) made the most of her life in those few years she got to live. She used to paint.
